How content maketing makes you money

If you want to become successful at becoming an affiliate marketer, you must be able to drive sales to the companies you’re marketing for. the best way you can make that happen is through content creation or for better terms content marketing.

The vast majority of businesses out there have made content marketing an integral part of their marketing cycle.

Why?

Because content marketing helps businesses meet their goals along the sales cycle such as..

…Attrack new customers through brand awareness…

…Forms a relationship through the content…

…Answer many of the questions your potential customers have…

…And most imortantly comvert those potential customers to actual paying customers…

There are a number of content strategies that you-the affiliate marketer-can use to guide your prospects through the sales cycle to the eventual sales.

But the most important thing you must consider when you formulate your content strategy is surprisingly not the sale. Your most important goal is to form a relationship with your your readers. You can’t do that by shoving sales content down their throats. You have to gain their trust by giving them valueable content that they can use. Think about it…you wouldn’t buy something from a complete stranger just because they said it was great, would you? Of course not. It most likely would be from someone you knew and trusted. That’s how you should approach your content strategy, creating a relationship. Let them get to know you through your content, and gain their trust by giving away valuable content that will help them with their problems. Give them free insights on how to do something that they feel hey normally would have to pay for.

You can use emails…blogs…ebooks…and you tube just to name a few to put your content creation on.

when you begin your content strategy, it’s best to start out by indentifying a problem your reader is having in your niche. Try and formulate the best solution to their problem. You can find out some of their problems by answering some of the questions they may have. Try thinking of them by putting yourself in their shoes.

The questions they have can range from…what tools are out there that can help me do a more efficient job? What are my options to my particular problem? by answering these questions, you become somewhat of an authority and trust-worthy to them.

At this moment I want to focus on my two favorite content strategies which are emails and blogs.

Emails

When it comes to email marketing, here are some eye-opening statistics you should know…

…Emailmarketing technology isused by 82% of b2b and b2c companies with 95% of them using email automation…

…53% of emails are opened on mobile devices and growing…

…Emails with personalized subject lines are 26% more likely to be opened…

…Studies show that email marketing generates more sales than Facebook and Twitter combined…

…There’s over 3.9 Billion email users worldwide today and will be 4.3 billion globally by the year 2023…

These are only a few of the eye-popping statistics that lets you see how benificial using an email strategy can be today and the distant future.

You see, email is the foundation for interconnection that all new communication tools eventually go back to. This is one of the reasons I love email marketing as a content strategy.

I can’t show you how to create persuasive email content in this post…that will come in later post. But I can give you a few tips on the best way to write them.

The first thing yoou want to do is learn to write strong subject-lines. The subject-line is somewhat like your headline. With all the millions of subject lines out there, you want yours to grab them and get their attention. You can accomplish this by making your subject line relavant to your prospects concerns, worries and needs. Try and incorporate what great copywriters and marketers use when crafting their headlines and subject-lines. And that’s the Four -Us. The four Us is simply a strategy of making sure your subject line is unique, urgent, ultra-specific and usful. And curiosity is another strong emotion you can implament.

Whenever possible try and personalize your subject line. A good autoresonder site can help you do that.

When writing your email try to have a clear focus on what you want your email to do…be it sales, getting a subscription or acquiring an email address. Make sure your subjectline is connected to your email message…but more importantly write if you’re talking to your best friend and you’re letting them in on somthing that will help them. Remember you want to form a relationship with your prospect. This is one of the first part of a sales funnel that will get them closer to the sale. And lastly, leave a P.S. at the end of your message You have a lot of readers who are skimmers. You can use the P.S. to elaborate what you’ve talked about and also give them that extra push in moving foward in your sales funnel.

Writing a Blog

There are a number of reasons you should write a blog when it pertains to running your affiliate marketing business.

…It’s easy…

…It enables you to attract an audience ecaue you’ll have the ability to reach billions of people…

…Helps to establish authority…

…builds raport and engagement…

…Helps you make money…

…Improves your writing ability…

So, where shold you begin when you start your blog? If you’re like me-someone who had limitations on how much expenses you want to endure-you can begin without spending a single penny. You can go to WordPress and look at there free plan. In my opinion, this is a great way for a beginner to start. You’ll gain experience writing and researching. You’ll eventually have more confidence in your writing, and when you get to the point where your blog is growing, you then can up-grade to a premium plan.

Here are some basic steps to creating your blog.

Choose what your blog name will be: Make sure it’s simple but states what your blog is all about…

Put in the needed tools: This means installing the necessry plugins…

Be consistent: If you’re going to post daily, make sure you are consistent with it (something I have to work on myself)…

Grow with your blog: Your blog will grow, and so should you. When your blog grows make upgrades to keep your blog at the pace of it’s growth.

Well, that’s it for now. I hopeYou’ve gotten some basic insights from this post. Until next time have a blessed day.

I started this blog because I believe we're in an economic environment that is only going to reward those who have their own (business). My passion is to help as many as I can to be successful as an online entrepreneur. As you may know, you can't count on the government to secure your financial future, so you must rely on yourself on yourself. I came to this conclusion because I was a victim of this up and down economy and I'm pulling myself out of my misfortune by starting my own online business and I want to carry as many poeple like myself along by helping THEM succeed.
